Not far from Chassy are for example Nevers, Moulins and Bourges. Julius César thought Bourges to be the most beautiful city of Gaul. The city is well known for its art and history. Bourges has the famous cathedral of Saint Etienne with its stained-glass windows. Bourges also has good restaurants and nice cafés/bars.

The products are part of a simple and generous kitchen. Restaurants serve local specialties, the wine list includes the Sancerre, Menetou Salon, Quincy, Pouilly fumé… The world famous Sirop Monin, a family business, with its 140 flavors,comes originally from Bourges. Enjoying good things is a true “art de vivre” here!
